Shakeup of Indiana's gambling laws could see two new casinos being built
A shakeup of Indiana's gambling laws could see two new casinos being built.
A proposal being debated has cleared a state Senate committee. The plan focuses on moving Gary's two riverboat casinos off Lake Michigan to other sites.
It could also allow legalizing sports betting as early as next year.
Other casinos worry the moves will hurt their business.
Changes to the bill could come before the legislative session ends in April.
