A South Bend man is being held without bond, charged with the May 14th murder of 32-year-old Eric Johnson.
Johnson died just after midnight after being shot in the 3700 block of West Jefferson Boulevard in South Bend.
30-year-old John Thomas has been charged with the murder, and faces a firearm enhancement.
While police were investigating Johnson’s death, officers were called to the 1100 block of Cedar Street where they found 25-year-old Annalise Matson of South Bend who had died of a gunshot wound.
Matson’s death remains under review by the prosecutor’s office.
If convicted Thomas could 45-65 years for Johnson’s murder and 5 to 20 years for firearm enhancement.
