People packed the streets in anticipation for this years St. Patrick's Day parade. With music, dancing, and floats there were plenty of smiles to go around.

"It's just a great time for families to come out and have a lot of fun," said Rick Kring.

Rick Cring organized this year's parade that included over 1,200 participants. He says he enjoys seeing the smiles on the kids faces.

"A lot of kids are in the St. Patrick's Day parade, which is really great to see the kids out here and participating," said Kring.

David Anastos and his family come every year and are excited to watch it from a new perspective.

"We're gonna be in the parade," said Anastos. "First time ever, so it's kinda fun to be finally in the parade since we've watched it for all these years go down the streets. So we are really excited to be in the parade this year, and be a part of it."

Many were taking in the parade for the first time and left with their own special moment.

"The parade was pretty lively which was fun, and there were a lot of dogs which was cool... I love dogs," said Amber Stoffel.

"Walking in the parade and seeing the green river," shouted Eloise Glavich.

The dying of the river wrapped up the parade and people say they will make sure they will be back next year to do it all over again.

"We will definitely come again, for sure, make it a yearly thing," said Stoffel.
