St. Joseph County dispatcher recognized for heroic actions on call

    A 911 dispatcher is being recognized for their heroic actions on a call.

    Tonight dispatchers recognized Jordan Langreder for her service on a call with someone suffering from an anxiety attack.

    A normal 911 call usually lasts anywhere from 30 seconds to 2 minutes.

    Jordan stayed on the call for nearly 25 minutes.

    She stayed on the phone with the person until their medicine kicked in and felt okay.
