Three days until kickoff: Irish continue prep for Cotton Bowl

No. 23 Boise State’s first appearance at historic Cotton Bowl Stadium turned into what is believed to be the first bowl game called off because of weather.

The SERVPRO First Responder Bowl between the Broncos and Boston College was canceled because of the threat of severe weather after a delay of nearly 1 1/2 hours Wednesday.

The WSBT 22 Sports crew is dealing with that severe weather in Dallas ahead of the Cotton Bowl Game.

Sports Director Pete Byrne has more on how this will impact Notre Dame's showdown against Clemson. Fortunately, for the other teams in Dallas, they are prepping for the Cotton Bowl indoors.

Brian Kelly and his staff have been able to keep his team on a regular season-like schedule with the game taking place on a Saturday. Meanwhile, the Irish players are also taking a business-like approach in Dallas, but are also pretty pumped up about the opportunity at hand.
