Indiana Senator Joe Donnelly voted against confirming Kavanaugh to the US Supreme Court. That decision will likely come up tonight when he takes the stage for a debate against the two people challenging him on the ballot in November.

Donnelly, a Democrat, will debate Republican Mike Braun and Libertarian Lucy Brenton. The debate will be streamed live here on WSBT.com. You can watch here:

Braun and Donnelly are in a heated race for the US Senate seat.

Just last week a poll showed Senator Donnelly with a slight lead over Braun, but statistically they are in a dead heat.

Donnelly voted "no" on Kavanaugh's confirmation, while Braun has said he supported Trump's pick for the Supreme Court.

Senator Donnelly has held the position for 6 years.

Prior to that, he was a Congressman in Indiana's 2nd District.

Braun is a businessman and politician.

He was an Indiana representative for 3 years.

Donnelly is one of the Senate's most vulnerable Democrats heading into the November election, and this race could determine which party controls the Senate.
