WSBT 22 First Alert Weather: Rain and big waves
Cloudy with scattered showers and a few storms this afternoon (Tuesday) and evening.
Our next concern turns toward Lake Michigan and high rip current risk through tomorrow. Waves will build to six to nine feet this afternoon due to a strong north wind and stay that high through Wednesday evening. You should stay out of the water during this time as even experienced swimmers will have extreme difficulty with these waves.
Waterspouts are also possible Tuesday evening through early Wednesday.
Cooler Wednesday with highs in the lower 70s, breezy north winds and sunshine by the afternoon.
