VIDEO: Bridge collapses from 'catastrophic flooding' on Llano River in Texas

UPDATE: 10:30 a.m.

AUSTIN, Texas (KEYE) - The FM 2900 bridge over the Llano River in Kingsland, Texas has collapsed due to flooding.

The collapse happened around 9:15 a.m.

The Lower Colorado River Authority has closed Travis, Marble Falls, Inks and Buchanan effective immediately.

The Llano River in Texas is expected to rise to 41 feet, which will result in "catastrophic flooding."

The Llano County Office of Emergency Management is urging residents within a quarter mile of the river to evacuate.

Two evacuation centers have been set up in Llano: the JLK Events Center and Lutie Watkins Methodist Church.

In Kingsland, the river has nearly crested the FM 2900 bridge.
