Ionia boy to make full recovery after falling into crosswalk as car drove through
IONIA, Mich. (NEWSCHANNEL 3) - The Ionia County Sheriff's Office said a five-year-old boy who was injured by a car is expected to make a full recovery.
It happened Tuesday at 8:15 p.m. as the boy was leaving Meijer on State Road.
Deputies said the Woodland boy was with his family when he fell in the crosswalk as a car was driving through the crosswalk.
The boy was treated at the scene and then taken to Sparrow Hospital for a possible leg injury. Then doctors determined he had no broken bones and will make a full recovery.
