There will be some changes made to area roads this weekend as Notre Dame takes on Michigan State:

In affect for Saturday's Notre Dame / Michigan State football game on Sept. 17, 2016:

Southbound traffic on Twyckenham will be restricted Saturday, September 17, 2016 from 7a.m. -7 a.m. Sunday morning, September 18.

The western most southbound lane (along the west curb line) of Twyckenham Road, beginning approximately one hundred feet north of Edison Road and extending possibly as far north as Vaness Road, will be closed. This is being done in order for Charter bus parking during the Notre Dame football game.

All traffic during this event will be monitored and controlled by the Indiana State Police, St. Joseph County Sheriff Department, and South Bend Police Dept. This leaves a single lane left to maintain southbound traffic between Douglas Road and Edison Road.

The traffic pattern typically enforced around the University campus for Notre Dame home football games will be in effect and enforced as usual.
