"I wouldn't want to call it an underdog, but I'm just out there. No one really expects me to do much. I mean they see me and I block, and we run the ball, and that's what our main focus is, said Jimtown senior Bryce Track, "But when we want to, we can catch them off guard and that's when I make my big plays."

Track has been steadily productive on both sides of the ball for the Jimmies, as both their tight end and on the defensive line.

As postseason approached for Jimtown, they mixed things up and showed off their "big play ability" in Bryce Track.

"Not a lot of yards, but I make it count when I finally get the ball," said Track.

He has had three catches this season, two of those were for a touchdown in the last several weeks. But his work on the other side other the ball has not gone unnoticed.

Head Coach Mike Campbell said, "When you run the ball effectively, there are going to be situations where he can be open and we've taken advantage of that. But more importantly it's the blocking that he's been doing that really earned him that spot. Bryce is a very selfless kid, and that's hard to come by now a days, He's not the biggest, the fastest, the strongest kid, but he throws his body into everything we do."

Track hopes to help keep the Jimmies alive another week, as they meet Marian for the Class 3A Sectional Final.
