Notre Dame goes for 2 in a row on the basketball court Saturday afternoon, when they host Florida State.

After playing their way out of the NCAA Tournament discussion during the first half of the conference season, Head Coach Mike Brey is hoping his guys can play their way back in, with a strong second half.

Brey said,"We're on the back nine now. I said, let's see if we can make a little move on the back nine. I just told them, we're 1-1 on the back nine and let's see if we can make a little move and see where we're at come March 1st. The other goal is, let's see if we can win two in a row at home. It's been a while, and we used to do that pretty regularly around here. So, let's see if we can to 2-0, Florida State is sold out, and should be a great atmosphere Saturday."

Notre Dame and Florida State tip-off at 4:00 p.m. ET on Saturday.

At halftime, Notre Dame will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the program's only Final Four. Several members of the 1978 team, along with coach Digger Phelps, will be back on campus.
