Irish defense focused on neutralizing Clemson offense

A lot of the attention surrounding the 2018 Cotton Bowl has been focused on Clemson's top-rated defense that will go up against Ian Book and the rest of the Irish offense.

But the other match-up that is intriguing in this game is the underrated Notre Dame defense who is facing a versatile Clemson offense.

The Irish know if they can keep the points down, they have a good chance to win on Saturday.

Notre Dame Defensive Coordinator Clark Lea breaks down his team's game plan for the Tigers, "For us it's more about how you make your opponent play left handed, how you can take away their strengths or kind of neutralize things that they do well."
