There's a big Friday night on tap this week.
Just two teams remain unbeaten in the NIC South, and they will face off in 48 hours.
Marian visits Bremen with the conference championship likely on the line.
Marian Head Coach Mike Davidson knows his team needs to be at its best this Friday.
"We've got to go out and have a good, sound, fundamental game on both sides of the football," added Davidson, "Offensively they change up formations a lot, so we've got to be able to adjust, as well as, play fast. On the defensive side of the ball, they are very physical up front, they are great tacklers and they are very disciplined in their schemes. So, we've got to execute.
Senior Kyle Herschel said "If we beat Bremen this week, we're in the driver's seat. We control our own destiny and we're just going for that NIC South Championship."
Meanwhile, Bremen is a perfect 5-0. The Lions have scored 230 points, over the first half of the season, and are winning their games by an average of more than 25 points per game.
Bremen Head Coach Jordan Leeper said, "we hope to put up that many points. But I don't envision that happening, I think their defense is very very good and they pose a lot of challenges with their speed and their aggressiveness. So, we're going to have to find a way to put some points on the board. I expect it to be a really hard fought game."
With a win this Friday, they'd have the inside track, at their first ever NIC crown in football.
