With no basketball in Michiana tonight, all eyes are on the ice.

As Notre Dame hockey skates for the Big Ten Title, No. 1 Notre Dame hosting No. 6 Ohio State, the formula is simple: if the Irish win, they're the Big Ten champs.

Andrew Ogilvie's nets his 12th goal of the season in the first period to give Notre Dame the 1-0 lead.

Ohio State goes on the power play in the 2nd period and Kevin Miller gets the equalizer, 1-1.

Less than 3 minutes later, the Irish take the lead back. The captain, Jake Evans, drops it for Jordan Gross who fires and it finds the net! Notre Dame back in front, 2-1, at the midway point of the hockey game.

Cale Morris with 31 saves on the night and Notre Dame wins, 2-1.

The Irish are Big Ten Champs and will get a first round bye in the Big Ten tournament.

Head Coach Jeff Jackson addressed the media post game, he said, "It's an incredible feeling. For me, the reward is watching the kids, watching them celebrate it and they worked hard. They battled tonight, that was a playoff game. The intensity Ohio State played with, we matched it pretty well. I was really proud of the guys' effort tonight. It's an incredible feather in their cap, but as I've mentioned to them this is just one step in the process. So, there's more to play for."
