Championship weekend is underway in Indiana high school. Saturday night the Penn Kingsmen have a chance to bring home a state title for the first time in 17 years. The Kingsmen will face No.1 Ben Davis tomorrow night at Lucas Oil Stadium.

Head Coach Cory Yeoman said, "These guys are going to compete, they are going to get after it. They're going to charge and they're going to battle, I can guarantee you that. They want to compete at the highest level and that's where we're at."

Ben Davis averaging nearly 40 points per game, meanwhile Penn's defense is allowing just 5.3 points per game.

Senior Corey Warner said, "Our defense is the best in the state, their offense is probably one of the best in the state. They put up a lot of points, we don't give up a lot of points. So, it would be amazing to just have a feeling of getting a blue ring. We're just going to practice hard this week and see what outcome comes Saturday."

The two teams have met a total of 14 times and together they have 13 state titles in 23 combined appearances. So, tons of eyes will be on the North-South rivalry, as Penn travels back down to Indy for the second trip in three years.

Kickoff for the class 6A title game is slated for 7 pm Saturday night at Lucas Oil Stadium.
