The Niles Brandywine girls found themselves in a familiar place Wednesday.

For the fifth year in a row, Brandywine is in the regionals.

But it's been three years since the Bobcats have advanced past the regionals.

Tonight, they tried to get back to state.

Brandywine met undefeated Centreville tonight in the regional final in Bronson.

"Phenomenal effort by our girls," said Josh Hood. "Three years ago, we got to the regionals and we were kind of excited about that and last year in the regional championship we got beat. This was the next step. We brought these girls up as freshmen and sophomores and here we are tonight. What a great atmosphere. It's a really good day to be a Brandywine Bobcat."

Brandywine won, 64-58. The Bobcats are regional champs!
