Its a busy weekend for area boys basketball teams, as seven schools will hit the court early on Saturday, looking to advance in the Regionals.

In Class 4A, Elkhart Memorial may be the forgotten team in the Michigan City regional, which also features undefeated SB Riley.

The Chargers overcame a 17-point, 2nd half deficit last weekend to win the sectional title over Northridge.

Head Coach Kyle Sears said, "Tournament time, sometimes its about just hanging on long enough. And really battling through. Not everything goes well. They really showed a lot of toughness and a lot of grit in that, and so, seeing that, you know you can be in any game."

They'll open up against a talented Valpo team Saturday, who they nearly beat, back in December.

"When we played the first time we lost by one, but they didn't have thier star player. We're not gonna do anything special for them," Junior Trey Gallope added, "We're just going to go out and play our game."
