Brian Kelly took a brief break from prepping his team and the recruiting trail to receive an honor in Fort Wayne.

The Mad Anthonys is a charitable organization and awarded Kelly their Red Coat award for charitable contributions.

After the awards banquet, Kelly got back to football and said he's pleased with where his team is at just 70 days away from kick off against Michigan.

"I'm really really pleased with the focus, and a single-minded focus in terms of championship play. There's no talk of anything else other than winning a national championship. So, when you get your players believing it and talking about it, living in it every single day, you know that you've got the program in the right position,” said Kelly.
