Pigskin Preview: Jimtown High School

The Jimtown football team is preparing for the 2016 season with less uncertainty than they faced a year ago.

The Jimmies have their share of key players to replace, as most program do. However, as they prepare to enter their 2nd season as a member of the NIC conference, there's a more confident vibe in training camp.

"There's some familiarity now," coach Mike Campbell admits.

Jimtown is coming off of a solid 7-4 season, which includes an impressive 4-2 conference mark in their first year in the NIC. And Campbell expects his team to continue to improve in year two.

"In terms of the level of competition, I think our kids will rise to that and they have to continue to, because the NIC is no cake-walk."

The Jimmies will open their season against their traditional week one rival-- NorthWood.
