In three days, the Friday night lights will be flipped on, all across Indiana when a new high school football season kicks off.

In Plymouth, there's more than a new pressbox on display at the Rock Pile.

There's a new quarterback too.

Jack Barron is gone after three years under center, which included leading the Rockies to the sectional crown last year.

Plymouth will open at home against rival Bremen on Friday, and despite losing some key pieces they feel they have a lot back too.

"You know we lost Jack Baron who was all state, Cam Eveland all State. But you know what we have a lot of guys coming back. We have middle linebacker Caleb Clause who had the leading tackles last year and Colten Schuler who I believe was rd in tackles. We're just ready to prove ourselves. Prove our class can do it too," said Plymouth senior Nick Nixon.

"It was the best of times and worst of times for Plymouth Football last year and I know these guys want to carry on some of those traditions where winning is important and it always has been. We just want to put a good product on the field. Last year was exciting and I think the boys definitely feel some of that, but its time to move on," said Plymouth Head Coach John Barron.
